Welcome to our recently up graded website, we’ve added a couple of updates from on farm to catch up.
It was great to get a real Autumn this year to build some feed covers heading into winter, tupping was done and dusted in no time. 2 tooth ewes averaged 61 kg to the ram, mixed age ewes were 64 kg to the ram. Increased emphasis on adult weight and body conditon score in the NZ maternal worth index has stepped up our data collection in these areas. We have condition scored the 2 tooth and mixed age ewes pre tup for the first time this year, we have been weighing 2 tooth and mixed age ewes pre tup now for 6 years.
